Clear your calendar -The Riverside County Employee Campaign Superhero 5k is on April 28th, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Course Layout and other points of interest shown above. Please note that this course includes asphalt, grass and dirt surfaces.

Location

We are excited to announce the Superhero 5k Run/Walk taking place in Jurupa Valley at Rancho Jurupa Park. The course has mixed terrain, which includes asphalt, dirt, and grass.

Perks

Professionally timed finisher results, bib, finisher medal, top finisher awards, costume contest, post race refreshments, and a commemorative bag as well as a t-shirt! Participants are also invited to stay for the Healthy Living Extravaganza after the 5k Run/Walk. The Healthy Living Extravaganza promotes healthy living and will include free drawings, kids games, music and food. Charity

The Superhero 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event sponsored by the Riverside County Employee Campaign, an annual fundraiser put on by Riverside County employees to raise funds for charitable organizations throughout Riverside County. Race Location

The 5k Course Route will take you around the beautiful Rancho Jurupa Park. The race ends at the entrance to the Healthy Living Extravaganza which will be located in the open field between the finish line and the lake. Bring the family for a fun run and day full of music, games and events!

Each registered participant who participates will receive a finisher medal.

FAQs

Fitness is important at every age and you can participate as long as you can cover the distance on your own. All runners, joggers, and walkers need a bib to participate. Participants under the age of 18 who do not have their own picture ID must check-in with a parent/guardian to participate.

Yes, the County of Riverside Employee Campaign is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Typically, parking for Rancho Jurupa costs $6. Race participants will not have to pay for parking and can enjoy the park following the completion of the event. Parking will also be allowed on Crestmore Road.

If you do not register, you may not participate in the race. We are not allowing participants to register on race day, please register now.

The Superhero 5K Run/Walk will take place at Rancho Jurupa Park.

Strollers are allowed within Rancho Jurupa Park, but will not be permitted to be on the track/course due to varying terrain types and in order to ensure safety of participants.

Rain or Shine, the Superhero 5K run will take place.

Dogs brought into Rancho Jurupa must be in the presence of the owner and on-leash at all times. Dogs will not be allowed on the course. Dog owners assume all responsibility for the behavior including clean up and any injuries caused by their dog.

Due to this being a charitable event, in which, all donations will go directly to support County of Riverside non-profits, there is a strict no refund policy.

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to cheer you on from the sidelines and enjoy the Rancho Jurupa park with you.

Bring your registration confirmation and ID. The name on your registration must match the name on the ID. Children without an ID must check-in with their parent or guardian.
